Dylan Cooper

James W and I are in Annecy, France now. It's the doorway to the Alpes, including Mont Blanc. The amount of massive bergs here is insane! We've just done a big week smacking huge climbs all day, only for me to end up taring my hamstring 50km from home and having to limp back, doing more damage. So it's at least a month off for me now, while I watch Jimi go out and smash the mountains in the summer sun. Not good!

At least there are other things to do here. It's France's equivalent of our Thredbo or Canada's Whistler. I came here as a junior for the World Cup finals a few years ago and knew I had to come back. After this we're in Freiburg - a small student town in south-west Germany. James then heads to Kyoto, Japan to visit out mate Noguchi. I'll be heading to Denver, Colorado to hopefully heal fast and start riding. The Aussie National Team will be there for altitude training. I'll then have only a few weeks to get fit for the Worlds in Livigno, Italy...
