05.05.05 - Penrose 8hr Race:

The second round of the Working Week Series was in Penrose, near Bowral, NSW. Over 400 riders turned up nice and early to check out one of the best courses in the area and one of the best courses I've ridden lately.

Shane Paton and I teamed up to win the pairs and outright over the Cannondale boys. Apart from the fun course, perfect weather, and great organisation, it was awesome training. It's already taken me 3 days to semi-recover. Struggling to turn the legs over this week. Back to training/racing with the roadies this weekend.
